Jessica Renzelman

Hailing from the wheat fields of Missouri, Jessica Renzelman is a photographer, filmmaker, and installation artist relocated to Los Angeles, with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Whether creating her own photographs and films or collecting them from an archive, her work investigates the memory of everyday moments and objects: the memory of outdated technology, her own memories of the Midwest, the memories of strangers found in amateur snapshot photography and films, or a critique of the unreliable nature of memory itself. In her spare time, she binge watches true crime and B-rated horror films.
